The first public 1.10.4 beta is out for Minecraft 26.1.2 and 26.2 on Fabric. Vehicle fuel support now ships inside one complete Pumps & Pistons JAR.
Build your fuel workshop without a vehicle mod, or add matching Automobility 1.0.0-beta.1 for car tanks, refuelling and the Trip Computer. Momentum 1.0.0-beta.1 is optional; choose every file for the same Minecraft version.
Press K while seated to check the car’s distance and actual petrol or diesel use. Passengers can read the Trip Computer, while resetting needs the driver’s confirmation.
The beta also adds a 1,000-litre bulk storage tank, gradual liquid transfers with clearer progress, safer machine handling, and a ninth illustrated manual chapter. The field manual is available in 18 languages, including its new bulk-storage chapter on Offchunk.
Upgrading from the separate adapter? Stop normally and back up the world, config and mods. Update server and clients together, keep the old adapter configuration or JAR for the first integrated start, then check your saved machines, vehicles and fuel settings before removing the redundant adapter JAR. Existing consumption settings and explicit server fuel choices are preserved. P&P 1.10.3 and earlier still need their matching separate adapter.
This is a beta release. Add Powerworks only when a public build explicitly supports this P&P beta.
