Automobility · Consumption and dashboard
Distance and running time form the baseline; engine, frame, load and driving style modify the result.
Pumps & Pistons: Automobility adds vehicle tanks, hose refueling, consumption and the dashboard. Use the same core and integration version on the server and every client.
50× · survival
Regular fuel stops in survival ◆
New installations use the survival preset: 50× realistic consumption. Existing server settings are preserved. The values shown here include the survival multiplier.
What increases fuel use
- Higher speed
- Hard acceleration
- Engine torque
- Frame weight
- Extra passengers
- Engine running time
Petrol · distance: 3.75 ml / block ◆
Petrol · engine running: 0.75 ml / tick ◆
Diesel · distance: × 0.9 ◆
Diesel · engine running: × 0.8 ◆
Engine off: no fuel use
The running-engine component applies whenever the engine is on, including while the vehicle is moving.
Read the fuel gauge
Under normal conditions, the gauge color matches the fuel required by the engine. Filled segments show the level. Amber means low, red means critical, and alternating red segments mean the wrong fuel.
- Normal · petrol
- Normal · diesel
- Low · 25% or less
- Critical · 10% or less
- Wrong fuel
◆ Default value; server operators can change it.
